thanks in advance.. Note that there's no translation for slangs, e.g. i will always be there for you. A close translation would be: Xin moi em giu suc khoe. Neu co gi hay em can a giup em cai gi, em dien thoai cho anh biet. Anh luon luon o ben em. whichs translates... Please you take care of your health. If anything or you need me to help you anything, you call me let me know. I will always beside you.

Can someone pls advise me which sentence sounds better? Or u have better suggestion? You haven't told us what you would like to ask her. I'm guessing you want to ask her to be your GF. For starters, you should not use ban and toi... it's very informal. The use of 'anh' and 'em' is more appropriate in this context. My suggestions would be: Em co muon lam ban gai cua anh khong? - Do you want to be my GF? Em co lam duoc ban gai cua anh khong? - Can you be my GF

| @A: Tell me about the sentences in english that you want to tell her. I need they to help you to translate into vietnamese.
@Adguy: You shouldn't use second sentence, the first sentence is better.

| too late, I already sent to her my original sentence & she laughed at me. This is what she said she would prefer: Em co the lam ban gai cua toi duoc khong It's just too complicated cos Viet has lots of way to express the sentence. Btw what exactly does the sentence that I wrote mean? @khangvoi: I wish to ask her: "Will you be my gf?" Best regards | |

| 1. Bạn có bạn gái của tôi (You have my girlfriend) 2. Bạn sẽ được bạn gái của tôi (You get my girlfriend)
Will you be my girlfriend? <=> Em sẽ làm (là) bạn gái của anh chứ?

| Natural Vietnamese will be: "Em làm bạn gái (của) anh nhé?" = Will you be my girlfriend? Same as a more important question: "Em làm vợ (của) anh nhé?" = Will you be my wife? or "Em cưới anh nhé?" = Will you marry me? Having the word "nhé" at the end makes the sentence sound less tense, more inviting and closer Hope it helps guys | |

many thx! Hi ray, It's not very clear without understanding the context of the conversation. Worse still without the tonal markings. But from how I see it, 1) 'tha' means 'to forgive or to let go' and 'chu' is usually used at the end of the expression to mean 'of course'. Tha could also be a typo error which should have been 'that', which mean 'true'. I suppose only you will know which is correct. 2) the 2nd phrase means... When go toilet then how? Again, only you will know if this makes sense.
