| There's a really nice and new hotel in D3. It's called Sen Hotel.
Just too bad I didn't take down the address. They were charging 30usd per night, but when I din want to take it, they were keen to 'negotiate.
I believe you can still get a good night's sleep there for 25usd.
Maybe someone can provide more info on this.
I was in Binh Tan and the place I stayed was Nha Nghi (rest house) Mai Trang. It's at 294 Vanh Dai Trong KP3 P. Binh Tri Dong B, Q Binh Tan (Tel: 7626745)
Really comfy, really nice. Best thing... 180k per night (about 10usd) |

| Something to share with bros here... the hotel I stay in Saigon depends on how many days I will be there! I always aim to save as much as possible on hotel to spend on food, alcohol and bx!!! Hehehehehe... afterall I only spend a few hours in the hotel so my criteria is simple, central location, clean room and comfy bed!
So far I find A & Em Hotel in 60 Le Than Ton not bad as the location is central and room is pretty nice with comfy bed. Rates about USD32/nite. Another hotel is Thang Long at Mac Thi Buoi... very accessible and just round the corner is Dong Khoi! Nothing fanciful about the room but it is clean and best of all it is cheap! Room rates at only USD26/nite! Unbelievable but it's true! My usual hotel if I am staying more than 3 nites at HCMC...
Cheers! |

Thanks for the recommendations.
But to me.. and if you are going for budget... anything more than 20usd is already considered expensive.
You can get very decent lodging at many places for about 250k which is roughly $20sing.
Of course, to each his own. I'm just a cheapo |
