Cannot... U need to register a Viet name unless your name is universally understood, e.g. Alo banh kem.

Anybody knows the internet law in vietnam?
If we have a website for our business,
Do we need to register with the authority?

Bro,

Are you talking about setting up a website for E-commerce or just a simple company website showcasing your products and services?

To answer your question about website, basically everything needs to be registered by right. But there's always the by left coz you dun need to use vn server.

PostSubject: DOING BUSINESS IN VIETNAM   Mon Oct 25, 2010 1:23 pm

Just to caution bro, who intend to do business here.
I have been here for last 3 years, and have encounter bad experience dealing with Vietnamese.
If you are thinking of giving credit to them, think twice.
It hard to chase for bad debt.
if you dont recover your debt after 2 year, no point in suing them.
it become unenforceable in court,if you want to sue start early.
I extend credit to them 1st year , they pay on time , after that they drag and dont want to paid.
win your trust first them , then play dirty.so be careful with them.

I think this is a great topic... too bad it's died off.

Just wondering if there are any interesting ideas or opportunities to share.

Hi there,

IMHO, their taste is very different from ours.

I have brought friends to the best places in Singapore for chicken, duck, pork rice but they still prefer the Vietnam versions.

PostSubject: As I also tasted Chicken Rice from Vietnam, they only put the name of "Com Ga Singapore", not the real one. If the shop is open by Malaysian or Singapore, then that is the REAL "Com Ga Singapore".   Mon May 13, 2013 5:23 am

PostSubject: That's why so many Vietnamese people tour to Malaysia and Singapore eating the chicken rice there, they won't eat anymore "Com Ga Singapore" make by Vietnamese. They will look and search the REAL chicken rice from Saigon, Hanoi or Can Tho city.    Mon May 13, 2013 5:26 am
