3rd Official Outing for Learn Tieng Viet Through Music! - Ho Chi Minh City

Hi all,

It's been a long time since our last outing.

I am currently planning the 3rd Karaoke session, so do let me know if you are interested.

Date: 13-Aug-10
Place: Ho Chi Minh City (Yes, you saw right)
Venue: To be confirmed closer to the date
Time: To be confirmed

I would also like to take this opportunity to meet up with our members in HCMC. If members from other countries are around during that time, you are most welcome to join us. It will be great fun.

PS: If anyone is wondering what happened to the 2nd outing, it'll be in Singapore between now and then.

Let's start the list going. HCMC friends, please don't feel shy.

After 4 months of practicing in Bunker, this time round I will be able to contribute some singing...

CR - OUT also... I shuld be back to SGP by 13th Aug... will be in HCMC to celebrate Singapore National Day and come back on 9 Aug!!! Hahahahahahaha

The place will depend on whether you guys want con gai or not... if want con gai then I really clueless where are the good ktvs in Singapore that got Viet con gai.... nowadays damn hard to find ktv with Viet con gai...

I really dunno.

Just happy being able to uong bia and sing songs with the boys.

I can only recall these off my head:

Milk / Paramount / Sentosa - same boss and can ta bao girls from any outlet to another
MM (and the one next to it) - but girl quality not high
New Shanghai - mixture of PRC and VB
Her Majesty - not too fond of this place though, a bit of a 黑店 and I'm not just referring to the exterior
Shing (VB?)

All these KTV outlets are located in GL. Personally I've been to New Shanghai (L7) and Sentosa from the list. NSH girl quite playable but song selection not good. Sentosa - I feel the song selection is ok (although AdGuy might think differently), but girls not very wild.

No con gai outlet and cheap, I can only think of Teo Heng at Katong Shopping Centre. Not beverage also, you can bring your own or buy non-alcoholic beverage from the operator. Song selection wise is ok. They actually hold the patent for the KTV system used in most low end KTVs here (eg. BS, Sentosa).
