Calling to Vietnam Empty
PostSubject: Calling to Vietnam   Calling to Vietnam Icon_minitimeSat Jan 09, 2010 7:03 am

Hi all,

I call back to VN quite a bit through Starhub roaming.

Monthly bills chalked up can come up to quite a bit. I can't change service provider yet because I'm still on contract.

Heard there are cheap prepaid cards around.

Can anyone recommend a good one?

I use Talk-a-thon.

It's a $10 value which allows you to call for about 120mins.

You should be able to get it for ard $7.50 - $8.50

Hope this helps

Loads of recommendations above bro, both prepaid cards and from the telcos.

I prefer prepaid cards though so that it's easier to budget Laughing

Prepaid cards like Talk-a-thon, BIP, chat chat, etc can be easily found in those mobile phone shops not affiliated to any of the 3 Telecoms. Buying at 7-11, Cheers, etc is a waste of money.

For e.g. a $10 valued card can be bought for $8.

Hold on...

A talk-a-thon @ $10 gives you 120min call time, i.e. $20 gives you 240min = 4hrs

So considering that you can get talk-a-thon for cheaper at certain places, it still makes for better value. Of course I'm not talking into consideration any connection charge here.

Comments?

Thanks for your recommendations.

I've had to remove the image because this free forum runs on very little storage space.

Thanks for your understanding.
